Feature Films & Series
Our first feature film ~ COPPELIA ~ is a modern fairytale for a family audience, told without words, through an original combination of animation, music and live action dance. COPPELIA features a diverse international cast, a strong Black heroine and an important message for a young audience in the age of social media - Be yourself! COPPELIA premiered at Annecy Festival. The film has screened at many festivals and won several awards. Broadcasts include BBC Two, Christmas 22, and PBS, Thanksgiving 21. We have an exciting slate of fiction and documentary films and series in development. Great theatre on screen We've produced many multi-camera broadcasts of outstanding theatre, dance and opera productions for TV, live event cinema and streaming platforms. We've created complementary content, such as making-of documentaries and interviews, taking audiences closer to the arts and artists. We produced the first cinema series of contemporary dance performances for Pathé Live, distributed to 600 cinemas in 23 countries; and we were the first producers to distribute dance films on Apple TV. Our performance films are screened at arts film festivals worldwide. We've won numerous awards including the Rose d'Or (Arts). Broadcasters, co-producers and distribution partners include Avrotros (Netherlands), BBC (UK), CBC (Canada), EuroArts, Marquee TV, MDR Arte (Germany/France), Modern Films (UK), NHK (Japan), NRK (Norway), NTR (Netherlands), Pathé Live, PBS (N.America), Sky (UK/Germany), Shout! 3 minutes West was established in 2007 by director / writer / producer Jeff Tudor and producer Adrienne Liron. We're based in Manchester, UK and Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
